BLH Electrical is owned by Bryan Hoey.

With 30 years electrical experience under his belt, Bryan is a true electrical professional who’s done it all. After completing his apprenticeship in Auckland, he learned the ropes with an ‘old school’ electrician where hard work and quality workmanship was a given. A stint overseas included time with global giant BP Oil, working on major electrical projects in countries as diverse as Algeria and Azerbaijan. On returning home, Bryan set up his own electrical business and 20 years on he continues to service the greater Auckland region. When he’s not busy working, he’s busy with his family, coaching schoolboy rugby and cricket, and squeezing in the odd game of squash and a spot of fishing.  

Where we work

BLH Electrical is based in the central Auckland suburb of Westmere. Most of our residential work is based in the surrounding area and over the years we’ve completed literally hundreds of electrical projects in Westmere, Cox Bay, Herne Bay, St Mary’s Bay, Ponsonby, Freemans Bay, Grey Lynn and Pt Che. We have a wealth of experience in renovations, additions, new builds and general electrical work.

Our commercial and industrial work takes us a little further afield. We go as far south as Karaka, as far north as Warkworth, through the main retail centres of the CBD and around Auckland’s major industrial zones. On top of that we have a nationwide network that gives us the ability to service a clients' needs across the country.
